New Year, New Normal, New Market?

The S&P 500 beat the DOW, Nasdaq and other major U.S. benchmarks this year, all while the MSCI World took it on the chin with a laughable single-digit return, and the Russell 2000 small-cap index has quite literally been flat since February. This was a banner year for U.S. stocks, specifically large cap, which we capitalized on. Yes, inflation ran hot, but anybody that was surprised by this was either asleep last year, and/or doesn't understand supply and demand 101. What's to come in 2022? While we don't have our official forecast finalized, we are expect another up year. Stay tuned for our official forecast early next year, and have a safe, happy and healthy new year.
